What is Service Design

Service design is a process where designers create sustainable solutions and optimal experiences for both customers and service providers in unique contexts. This involves breaking services into sections and adapting fine-tuned solutions to suit all users' needs based on various factors such as actors, location, and more. Service design considers the complex chains of interactions that users experience and the relationships between service receivers and service providers. It also includes user experience (UX) and customer experience (CX) design and requires an understanding of both macro- and micro-level factors that affect users' realities. The goal is to ideate towards solutions that cater to users' specific ecosystems while ensuring brands can deliver on expectations optimally and sustainably.

About Me

I am a third year Interaction Design student at Emily Carr University, Vancouver, BC. I am interested in designing for children, to help children learn while enjoying their childhood. I also want to design for the inner child inside us to remind grown-ups that sometimes it's okay, and neccessary to be playful and enjoy life like a kid. One of my favourite quote is from the book "Little Prince" by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry: All grown-ups were once children… but only few of them remember it.
